A compilation of 15 unissued recordings of Little Walter.He had the touch of magic in the way he played the blues harp. Fortunate to spend many years in the Muddy Waters blues band. These he is backed ny Louis & Dave Meyers (guitar), Robert Lockwood (guitar), Willie Dixon (bass), Otis Span (piano), Fred Below Drums. There is many others that are on tracks in this album. Thursday's lunch record is "Jackie Wilson, 14 Hits"  (1976) r. 1953-56. A nice compilation of Jackie's earlyest material . He became the lead singer for Billy Ward and the Dominoes after Clyde McPhatter left the group. He had numerous R & B hits while singing with this fun vocal group. Wednesday's lunch record is "Devo, Q:Are We Not Men" (1978). This album is new wave rock from a provocative band from Germany. This is their first album and they had sent promos to David Bowie and Iggy Pop in hopes they would back them by producing this album. They both were unable . The cover photo is norphed together pictures of Chi Chi Rodriguez the golfer and Presidents: Ford, Nixon, Kennedy and Johnson.This is exciting music and their stage show was futuristic entertainment.
