Friday's lunch record is "The Legend Of Elmore James", Original Folk Blues. (1976). This is a reissue album on the budget record label United-Superior which is a reprint of their 1969 reissue. The jacket and the quality of the pressings on their vinyl us low quality. The essence of Elmore James music is not. The so called king of the slide guitar is an inspirational interpreter of the blues. His singing is original along with creativity.
