His band featured Purvis Henson on (tenor sax) these tracks are from 1951-52. Side 4 features Nappy Brown (vocal) Budd Johnson, Al Sears (tenor sax), Mickey Baker (guitar), Milt Hinton (bass). The Ravens the first of the so called bird groups. Others followed, The Swallows, The Orioles, The Swans and the Crows.
