The Ravens, The Ravens (1975)  r. 1952-54
 Tuesday's lunch record is a collection of The Ravens recordings from 1952-1954. These are reissued recordings on the Pickwick Harlem Hit Parade label. Originally issued on Mercury records. The Ravens the first of the so called bird groups. Others followed, The Swallows, The Orioles, The Swans and the Crows. They were a Doo-Wop rhythm & blues vocal group that set the style of music from 1946-1950's.  The featured singers Jimmy Ricks (bass), Warren Stuttles, Joe Van Lon (tenor) and Jimmy Stewart.
