Tuesday's lunch record is "Gato Barbieri, Fenix" (1971).This jazz album is stong into Latin Free Jazz. It is an excitting listen. Gato on the tenor saxophoneand accompianed by jazz standouts Lonnie Liston Smith on piano and electric piano. Joe Beck on electric guitar, Ron Carter on bass and  Lonnie White on drums. Gato is from Argentina and is an electic, intensely lyrical and expressive creator of music.
