Little Walter, I Hate To See You Go (1969) r. 1952-1960

Thursday's lunch record is "Little Walter, I Hate To See You Go" (1969) r. 1952-1960. This signature blues album contains some of the most significant blues recordings to ever come out of Chicago. Little Walter was the pioneer of the blues harp. It is felt he was the first to amplify the harp by blowing directly into a microphone. This makes the list of one of those desert island records. The YouTube sample song from this album is "I Had My Fun"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3xklwNyqIQ . . . . bucko
