Rock 'n Roll, Claud Cloud And His Orchestra (1955)
Monday's lunch record is "Rock 'n Roll, Claud Cloud And His Orchestra" (1955). This is one super early rock & roll album that screams with the dynamic tenor sax of Sam "The Man" Taylor. This recording is on MGM records and is loaded with swinging high stepping drive mom & dad bonkers loud dance music. The top studio musicians accompany "Sam The Man" on this frantic disc, Saan has been one of the key honkers to create this new music which swept the nation. The YouTube sample song is "High Winds" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SP_Gjd4qnk . . . . bucko
