John Hammond - (1963)

Tuesday's lunch record is"John Hammond" (1963). This is his introductory solo first album whene he was 20 years old. Already he is well versed in the mississippi delta blues. On this album the focus is playing his versions of many classics from the master bluesmen. "Two Trains Running" (Muddy Waters), "Give Me A 32-20" (Crudup), "Maybelline" (Berry), "Crossroads" (Robert Johnson), "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean" (Blind Lemon Jefferson), "This Train (Big Bill Broozny) alon with many others.
