 Monday's lunch record is a collection of Big Joe Turner. These are rare seldom heard recordings from Aladdin nine tracks from 1947 the other are from Imperial records (1950) in New Orleans Joe is backed by the Dave Bartholomew orchestra featuring Herb Hardesty (tenor sax, Fats Domino (piano), Frank Fields (bass) and Earl Palmer (drums). The early Aladdin records include the infamous blues shouter Wynonie Harris, quite a vocal battle is waged between them.
