Thursday's lunch record is the collection of sides of Count Basie's Orchestra from 1953-54. This is a double gate-fold album and today's listens are sides 3&4. These were originally issued on Verve records this collection is reissued on Polydor  records .This music  is big band jazz, blues and swing. Featured are Frank Wess & Frank Foster on tenor sax.
