Monday's lunch record is a reissue album of Buddy Johnson titled Wails. This reissue came out in the early 1970's on Trip records. The original album was released in 1957 on the Decca record label. Buddy's orchestra was a big band R&B /Jazz group that was one of the creators of rock & roll. All songs are composed by Buddy Johnson. One of his vocalists was his sister Ella. Songs included are; "Goodbye Baby Here I Go", "They Sat I'm The Biggest Fool", "Lil' Dog", Since I Fell For You", "Baby Don't You Cry", "Minglin' ", "Please Mr. Johnson" along with others.
