Eddie Vinson, Cherry Red Blues (1976) r. 1950's

Wednesday's lunch record is a collection of Edddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson's recordings he made in the 1950's for King Records. This is a reissue on Gusto records using the original masters from the King library. This covers many of his popular songs from his heyday. Eddie has a strong blues voice and leads his jump blues band and lays out some burning sax solos.
