These blues and r&b tracks are reissued on the Pickwick record label.Songs include "Blues Before Sunrise", "Sentimental Blues", "St Pete Florida Blues"out of the 10 tracks. Monday's lunch record is "Cream, Disraeli Gears" (1967). This a a classic pyshchedlic rock and roll album rooted in the blues. This is one of the most desirable of all the Cream records. Two monster hits from this album are "Strange Brew snd "Sunshine Of Your Love" of the eleven included tracks. A powerful musical rock driven by Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. Fridays lunch record is "George Benson, Tell It Like It Is" (1969). This fine album sifts through funk soul jazz with a a bit of latin flavor thrown in to make it savory. It was recorded at three different sessions for A&M records. A host of top musicians are included such as Richard Tee (piano), Bob Bushnell or Jerry Jemott (bass), Leo Morris (drums), Arthur Clark, Joe Farell (sax) and many more.George's guitar playing is explorative tastey fun leading this excellent jazz album. Thursday's lunch record is "John Hammond, Big City Blues" (1964). This is an album of folk country blues electrified. John sings these blues classics with intense feeling. Goree Carter and his Hepcats, Rock Awhile (1983) r.1949-51

Wednesday's lunch record is "Goree Carter and his Hepcats, Rock Awhile" (1983) r.1949-51. This album is a  collection of hot rythm and jump blues that was recorded on the Freedom label. Goree on guitar along with two saxophones, trumpet, piano, bass and drums. Many rock fans attribute his song "Rock Awhile" (1949) as the very first rock & roll record. Others attribute Ike Turner with his "Rocket 88" (1951) to be the first rock & roll record. His playing style influenced many other r&b guitarists, T-Bone Walker, B.B. King and Chuck Berry.
