Thursday's lunch record is a jazz reissue of Leo Parker & Sax Gill. This album is on the Gotham label a division of Krazy Kat records of England. Leo Parker and Sax Gill are baritone sax men. This is hard bop jazz which helped set the groundwork of rhythm & blues. They each feature the small band format with talented side men on piano, bass, tenor, trumpet and drums.
