Friday's lunch record is the classic rhythm & blues of Roy Brown. These tracks were the foundation building blocks of what would become rock & roll. In the late 40's and early 50's it was jump-blues. Tops In Pops, All The Latest Hit Recordings (1957)
Thursday's lunch record is the fun Rock&Roll budget album "Tops In Pops". The tracks are listed on the front of the album typed on a small little card printed over the stock photo. Studio musicians recorded versions of the 12 titles on this disc. Some songs are "Chantilly lace", "Donna", Queen Of The Hop", "Beep Beep", Tears Om My Pillow", "Tom Dooley" and others. The price sticker is still on the back of the jacket. S.S. Kresge Co. .88 cents. There is no tracks of this album on YouTube so no sample. . . bucko

Wednesday's lunch record is the funky soul classic by Bobby Womack. Bobby is a tremendous creative guitar player soulful singer and writer. The title song was recorded by the J. Tuesday's lunch record is the blues of Albert Collins the Truckin'. This album includes many of his blistering trade mark songs.
