This concert was to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ASCAP. Other big bands performing at Carnegie were Benny Goodman's, Fred Waring's and Paul Whiteman's. Glenn covered many of hits including; "Moonlight Serenade", "Stairway To Heaven". "One O'clock Jump", "Jim Jam Jump". "In The Mood" and many others, This is the big band swing that made Miller's orchestra loved throughout the world. This reissue album is a collection of 20 tracks recorded for the Gotham label of New York in 1949. Krazy Kat records of London England produced this 1987 reissue of jump blues R&B. Panama Francis spent time drumming in the Cab Calloway and the Lucky Millender orchestras. The musicians in his band were;  Danny Turner (sax), George Kelly (tenor sax), Doc Bagby (piano), Herb Gordy (bass).
