Wednesday's lunch record is this collection of Calvin's recordings for Aladin Records .Calvin on hot trumpet, vocals and being joined by studio mate Maxwell Davis on honkin' tenor sax. These tracks are hot rockin' jump blues. There is a resemblance to the Louis Jordan style of music. Lyrical jivin' and rappin'.
