Monday's lunch record is a collection early jazzy blues recording by guitarist singer Saunders King. This reissue album was released in 1983 on the Blues Boy label of Mr. R&B records. The sixteen tracks are from 1942-1954 and recoded on the west coast. Saunders King (guitar, vocal), his six piece band includes; Eddie Walker (trumpet), Travis Walker (alto sax), Ceric Heywood (piano). Bernard Peters (drums) and others. Songs include; "Little Girl", "S.K. Groove" "Why Was I Born".
