Friday's lunch record is a jump blues reissue album of Jack McVea's orchestra. This jumpin' fun R&B is from 1945- 1947 and is reissued in 1986  by the Swedish record company Mr R&B records on the Jukebox Lil label. Jack McVea the band leader and tenor saxophonist is backed by a six piece group, They had a huge hit with "Open The Door Richard" and were very much in demand in the Los Angeles area. There are 16 tracks including "Scrub, Sweep & Mop", "House Party Boogie", "Swing Man" and others.
