Tuesday's lunch record is the collection of early R&B recordings by Roy Milton and his Solid Senders. This reissue album is on the Jukebox Lil label of Mr. R&B Records. The seventeen tracks are from 1945-1951 formerly on the Specialty or Miltone record label. Roy Milton  a drummer, vocalist and band leader is recognized as one of the pioneers of small combo jump R&B that set the stage for Rock n' Roll. The fundamental honkin' horn section was backed by the solid bass lines and the distinctive piano rambling by Camille Howard. The YouTube sample song is "Hop.
