Thursday's lunch record is a big band tribute album on Capitol records. This album gathered six top big  bands that recorded in the 1940's and had them rerecord hit songs in modern studio equipment. These are in high-fidelity with their bands swinging the results were brilliant pieces.  Songs include "Two O'clock Jump" (Harry James), "Jumpin' At The Woodside" (Benny Goodman), "No Name Jive" (Glen Gray), "Trumpet Blues" (Harry James), "Keeper Of The Flame" (Woody Herman), "Bizet Has His day" (Les brown) along with others.
