Thursday's lunch record is by master blues shouter Joe Turner. This album released on the Pablo label was his second to the last of his career. He is joined by many seasoned blues and jazz musicians. Bobby Blevins (piano), Alvin Robinson (guitar), Terry Evans (guitar). Lee Allen (tenor sax), Jerry Jumonville (alto, baritone sax), Ike Williams (trumpet), Rudy Brown (bass) and Al Dunkin (drums). Bluesy renditions of "Time After Time", "Sweet Sixteen", "Since I Fell For You". "Down Home Blues' and "Big Leg Woman".
