Thursday's lunch record is"Ray Bryant, Lonesome Traveler" (1966). This is a fine jazz recording of Ray massaging the notes from his piano and his trio of bass and drums. They are joined by a couple of horns to layer in that soulful feel. It has a clean earthy expression with that soft touch of sophistication. This certainly a quality jazz adventure.
