Gene Ammons, Nothin' But Soul (1969)
Wenesday's lunch record is "Gene Ammons, Nothin' But Soul" (1969). This album is a reissue of a 1962 recordiong session on a budget record label. There are two long jazz-blues song per side, Sounds like a fun jam session caught on tape. Gene Ammons (tenor sax), Howard McGee (trumpet), Barney Richmonf (bass), Jake Fisher (guitar), Willie Masshburn (drums and Waco (bongos).
