Friday's lunch record is the Texas blues, R&B of Lester Williams. This album is a collection of his recordings made for tor the Specialty and Duke label in the early 1950's. Monday's lunch record is the early blues of Lester Williams. Lester was a regional southwestern blues man from Houston TX. His recordings began in 1949 with a significant blues hit "Wintertime Blues". He continued recording for a small label for the next five years. Lester sang played guitar and led his band.
