Tuesday's lunch record is "Champion Jack Dupree, Blues From The Gutter" (1958). This blues album is the first for Chapion Jack prroduced by Jerry Wexler for Atlantic Records. The New Orleans sound and style rings clear in his approach to the blues. Musicians include Jacck (piano) & vocals, Pete Brown (alto sax), Ennis Lowry (guitar), Wendell Marshall (bas( and Willie Jones (bass). Some of the songs are "Strollin", Evil Woman".
