Buddy Guy, A Man And The Blues (1968)
Monday's lunch record is "Buddy Guy, A Man And The Blues" (1968). A tremendous Chicago blues album from the late 19660's. Buddy is a master guitar player one of the best since B.B. King and Jimi. To augment his extradonair playing is his soul felt singing. He is joined by some of the best blues men. Otis Spann (piano), Jack Meyer (bass), Wayne Bennet (rythm guitsr), Fred Below (drums) and three saxes for that full sound. The YouTube sample song is "Money (That's what I want)" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNq0sxE2_Fo . . . . bucko
