Willie Egans, Rock n Roll Fever (1982) r.1955-58

Friday's lunch record is "Willie Egans, Rock n Roll Fever" (1982) r. 1955-58. This wonderful collection of songs from an artist very little known tto many. He has the west coast mid fifties sound coming from the Watts section of Los Angeles. His piano playing style is from the Fats Domino variety. The typical orchestra arrangement for R&B, two honkin' saxophones, guitar, bass and drums. This is a fun rockin' album to groove to. The YouTube sample song from this album is " Rock and Roll Fever"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q09Pt8_KDfk . . . . . . get the fever .  .  .  bucko
