B.B. King, The Rarest King (1981)r. 1947-1960)

Thursday's lunch record is "B.B. King, The Rarest King" (1981) r. 1947-1960).This wonderful colection of B.B. 's tracks that are not included in other compilations. It is nice to hear his early recordings from '49 - '52. Early work with Hank Crawford (sax) and Ike Turner (Piano) along with the rest of his large band. His music beams with his gift of playing and singing the blues. For sure the world's most famous blues musician. The YouTube sample is "Shake It Up And Go" (1952)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53GRg-TUCrY . .. . . . . . bucko
