Mondays lunch record was "Big Jay McNeely, Honkin' Sax Riffs 4 DJ's" (1993). This album is the newest album to my record collection, received as a gift from a dear friend so today was my first ever listen. A work of honkin' from the master saxophone man rockin' his chosen instrument of sceaming pleasure. An absolute treat for a Big Jay lover like me, not fare for the common unappreciative kind. The eight tracks are pure and simple Big Jay blowing his horn and what blowing I mean honkin' he does. There is no YouTube samples from this album but here is one from a 1994 show.
