Freddy King, Gives You A Bonanza Of Instrumentals (1963)

Thursday's lunch record is "Freddy King, Gives You A Bonanza Of Instrumentals (1963). This is a classic album of mid sixties blues rock instrumentals. It is unfortunate that he doesn't have vocals on this. The cover art is brilliant which desribes his outstanding guitar work. Silly titles for the songs which is typical for early rock & blues. "Low Tide", "Manhole", "Fish Fare", "Funnybone", how about "Surf Monkey" ? Regardless the names this is a fun rockin' R&B album on King Records. The YouTube sample song from this album is "Nickleplated" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkPxaVkpLIg . . . . . . . .bucko
