Friday's lunch record is by the newly named Sons formerly the Sons Of Champlin. This 1969 album is on the Capitol recording label. The Sons were a large horn based rock group from San Francisco that played a new sound for the time and area. Bill Champlin formerly of the rock horn band Chicago helped form The Son's Of Champlin. They had a soulful unique horn band compliment. Bill Champlin (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Bill Haggerty (guitar). Songs include; "Why Do People Run From The Rain", "Country Girl", "You Can Fly", "Love Of A Woman", "Terry's Tune", "Boomp Boomp Chop".
