Thursday's lunch record is a live performance by the Glenn Miller orchestra. This show was recorded in 1939 and released on a RCA album in 1958. This concert was to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ASCAP. Other big bands performing at Carnegie were Benny Goodman's, Fred Waring's and Paul Whiteman's. Glenn covered many of hits including; "Moonlight Serenade", "Stairway To Heaven". "One O'clock Jump", "Jim Jam Jump".
